We had our wedding reception at the Terrace.
We decided on the location as we wanted a smaller wedding.
It was nicer than the surrounding restaurants that offered
private functions and didn't need extra decorations. It
had a fantastic view and Nigel was there the day we looked
around and he was the most friendly and most willing to
help us of all the hosts.
From there Nigel & Jade were always in contact by
email and our occasional visits to discus the day with
us. They understood how special a wedding day was as they
have been married to each other for a few years. As restaurant
owners, they also knew that it is the little things and
all the details that would make the experience more memorable.
They even went to the trouble to download all of our songs
to be played.
On the day we arrived to see our guests relaxing outside
enjoying the sunset with drinks and canapes or having
some time out in the comfy seats in the lounge area. As
the sun went down fairy lights and candles lit the dining
room and our guests were seated, we dined and talked the
night away.
All the staff made sure everyone was comfortable and being
served - they were wonderful. A lot of people go to weddings
and remember bad food, service or bad company. Maybe I'm
biased but the food was the best I've tasted, the service
was excellent and everyone got on so well that people
couldn't stop talking.
We will be back many times and I'm sure our friends and
family will too.

I just wanted to send a quick email and say thank you
for a fabulous night on Saturday, as we celebrated our
5th wedding anniversary at your restaurant.
We spent our honeymoon in Maleny and dined at the Restaurant
on our last night. We had a great night and have always
had fond memories of the restaurant. As we approached
our 5th Anniversary, we hoped to do something special
to celebrate - but two has become three and it is now
so much more difficult to organise nights out. We did
our best though and organised a sitter from 4pm, and drove
up from Brisbane to the restaurant for dinner, driving
back to let the sitter go by midnight.
I was a little nervous when I saw that the restaurant
had changed hands but I needn't have been. All of the
little touches were still there, and the restaurant looks
fantastic. We both loved the changes you have made and
the perfect blend between the restaurant we remembered
and the improvements. Of course the view is as fantastic
as ever.
Our waiter was fantastic. He was personable and friendly.
He was the perfect waiter, professional and relaxed and
worked so hard all night. The meals were great, and we
now have more fantastic memories of your restaurant. Thank
you for your hard work and congratulations on your team,
the renovations and the wonderful experience.

Dear Management and Staff,
My family and I had the opportunity to dine at your fine
restaurant for the first time. The service and food was
second to none, I have not experienced excellent service
like yours in a restaurant for a very long time. I had
my young family with me, I felt quite comfortable having
my children there, as they were made to feel welcome,
which is always a concern to me when eating in a fine
restaurant.
The food was absolutely superb, compliments to the Chef.
My husband had the platter for one and he has never had
a platter as good as your. We will no doubt be regulars
and we are going to visit you again for a meal in a fortnight.
Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely restaurant.
